David is a senior member of AQR’s Global Asset Allocation team and a portfolio manager for AQR’s Global Macro Strategy as well as AQR’s Churchill Strategy, a highly diversified strategy that leverages the firm’s full investment capabilities across global markets. In these roles, he provides economic research into macro themes, market dislocations and structural changes across asset classes. David focuses on connecting quantitative data to global macro events and trends. Prior to AQR, David was a partner and the head of discretionary macro trading at Third Wave Global Investors. Before that he was a director at Citigroup and a principal and head trader at Harbor Street Capital Management. David earned a B.A. in history from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
